The design intention was to create a tile using slip-casting methods for the creation of a tiled surface. The end result was a bit different due to the moisture content of the slip-cast, the drying process was lengthened by a week or two. The correct method for faster results were to place chunks of clay into the mold and smooth out and even the applied surface. The results are as seen. The design incorporates three individually casted tiles to create one combination. The combination creates variety in the contrast of shadows and light depending on its position with a light source.
